E-Learning Company English Attack! Is Looking For A Commercial Agent In Taiwan
English Attack! (www.english-attack.com) is an e-learning start-up, currently in worldwide Beta, specialized in helping teens and young adults improve their English via online entertainment. We use clips from blockbuster movies, hit TV series and global news channels; online games; and social networking to create a learning environment that motivates young learners and helps them boost their intake of English at their own pace.
Over 20% of our 6,000 Beta testers have come spontaneously from Taiwan, and later this year we will launch the Chinese-language version of the site, with all site navigation, help texts, and interstitial content (but not the English-language exercises themselves) available in Chinese.
We are currently looking to create a relationship with a Taiwan-based Business Development professional or company, to be remunerated on a revenue-share basis (including a percentage of the revenues generated in Taiwan by our paid subscription offer) for a workload most probably in the order of 5-10 hours weekly. The agent would :
* Market and sell sponsorship and/or advertising packages to local language learning institutes, language schools, textbook and software editors, and other companies active in the language learning space
* Market and sell mult-user subscription packages to schools, language institutes, universities and businesses
* Promote the site via public relations activities and viral marketing (blogs, Twitter, social networks, etc) to maximize awareness of the service in Taiwan and grow the site’s Taiwanese users and subscribers. This work could be done be a sub-contractor hired by the agent.
We would be eager to hear from anyone interested in representing us in Taiwan, with a view to setting up a Skype call to discuss the opportunity. If interested, please write to Paul Maglione at paul.maglione@english-attack.com stating “Taiwan” in the e-mail header.
